What’s the difference between an EDDA and an EFDA?

is it the same but title varies in each state?
What should the starting pay be for an EDDA/EFDA with coronal polishing, X-ray safety, and 4 years experience working chair-side, 4 handed and 6 handed dentistry??
I am not currently certified; trained in office. I want to attend U of L for a few courses but want to make sure I got the right direction before I invest time, energy and money.
Any guidancee would be helpful. I used to work in Buffalo, NY. Now am currently employed in Bowling Green, KY. (big move, I know.)
EDDA= Expanded duties dental assistant
EFDA= Expanded functions dental assistant
I would assume it’s the same but idk…
